My name is Mikael and I love testing different ways to make money online right now there is a lot of hype about ChatGPT. And I get questions many times every single day about how to use ChatGPT to make money online or whether can you use ChatGPT to make money like this or like that. And let me just reveal right away that it definitely can be impressive in some ways and it definitely has potential but most of the articles I have seen out there are just also full of BS.
And there are so many things they do not tell you and often they have ulterior motives. So that's why I decided to record this article where I will share my opinion and experiences about how you potentially can use ChatGPT but also what the limitations are so you do not just end up blindly believing some article or some people that will just end up wasting your time and money. So just very briefly what is ChatGPT in case you do not know. In case you do, just use the timestamps in the description below to jump to the next section, but it is an AI tool. So it is a tool you can sign up for currently as recording this article for free. And then you can ask a different question so you can ask it to write content, you can write ask it basically anything. And then it just spits out this in a matter of seconds. And I'll show you exactly how to do this and of course, that has then opened it up right now for a lot of people and ideas to say like how can I use this to not have to do any work myself, to help this to make money online.
And it definitely has some ways you can use it to make money but just also do not believe all the hype because there are some very important things you need to consider. So I will go over a few different methods that people have asked me if they can use ChatGPT to make money like that and then we'll explain how you can use it correctly and what you should not do to you not waste your time and money. But I'll just log in now to ChatGPT and then we'll go over everything you need to know. So I have now logged into ChatGPT and it is very easy to use. And I'll show you three different ways or talk about three different ways that I have seen a lot of people talk about. So the first one is that many people say you can just use this to write YouTube scripts, like a script for a YouTube video.
So what you would then do is you can just write anything for example here you see write a two-minute YouTube script for the title how to clean the sink. You know it can be anything basically and then I just need to click it there and then of course when I need to show it there is an error. So I'll just try to reload it and see if we can then get it to work. And I just had to refresh it a little bit and then now it started working as you can see. And then it basically just writes it this one gathers just information online and starts writing. And I can definitely see why this seems very appealing because you see like I don't even know anything about this topic it was just something random and now I get a YouTube script and then you can supposedly just make an article about this. But this is the first big part that we need to consider because yes it can help you write a YouTube script, but most people will then say all you need to do is then just put this into some kind of automatic generator, and then you know it will do all the work for you.
And then it will try to sell you a tool like that you know and to earn commissions. But that's not all there is to it. Yes, there are tools and software that are very great at converting text into video, I also have a video about that. I will leave a link in the top corner, also below so you can see my top recommended way to do that. That is definitely true and can be a great help however a script like this you can't just blindly copy it and put it into any tool. And you cannot do that for several reasons. First of all, if you do not know anything about this topic it can be full of errors because ChatGPT like any other AI tool still makes many factual errors. Yes it is impressive what it can do and often it is great content that can help you but you should not just blindly copy it. You need to know something about this to check that it's actually correct because about some topics you might end up giving information that can be outright dangerous or wrong or get other people into trouble.
So that's one thing. Secondly, it often is quite boring if you just copy it like this you know if you have a video created like this if it's not interesting if it's not relevant if it doesn't connect with people. You will not get anything out of it even if you create a thousand videos like that. So you would still need to you know go through it know something about the topic, optimize the, say the script, and then you will also need to of course know how to optimize the videos, the channel, and all that. And that's what many people don't tell you, just telling you just do this, copy it into this tool, buy through my link so I get a commission you know. And then you'll make you know five hundred thousand dollars per day with ChatGPT.
That's not how it really works. It will still take effort, it will still take some knowledge, and it will still take skills to make money with YouTube videos like this. But it can be a great help so that's one method many people talk about that I want to go over. But the next one is content writing, writing articles. A lot of people talk about that as well as an option to use ChatGPT.So one question I get basically every day is for example can I work as a Content writer for my own website or as a freelancer you see like I'm for example on Fiverr right now, and there are so many people offering content writing and you can earn good money by writing articles. So the lazy people will then just say like oh can I do that you know? You can go to a new chat here and then you can say uh right uh one thousand word article about how to make money online.
You know like it could be something like that you see you just ask it like that and then it just thinks a little bit and then it starts writing. And can you see if you're a content writer and you say like wow you know I just write a thousand words now? Sometimes you know you can earn 5, 10, or 20 cents per word you write. This is super easy then right then I have an article I can submit or I can make a website just with content like this. Well, that's not exactly how it works. This will not give you great results for several reasons. So first of all, again you do not know if this is correct. Secondly is usually quite boring content that does not really engage people. Thirdly if you write for other people they need this content for example for the website or if you use it for your own website no the reason for this is that in many cases people wanted to rank on Google and Google is the biggest AI engine you know.
So it is very good at spotting what is AI content and if it can see that is full of factual errors or if it can detect that is AI which it is very good at. Then yeah maybe it will get good results here now but not in the long run and if you do it as a freelancer you're basically scamming people. And most people that hire Freelancers will spot this and run it through an AI detection tool and if you do that they would leave bad reviews and you will never earn from them again. And you will start not earning at all and if you just rely on it for your own website know that it will not give you good results in the long term. If you only use this, it can give a draft and then you have to go through it manually to make it a little bit more human, correct facts, and put in some extra things. So then it can be a good draft that you can use like this. But you need to still know something about it. You still need to do something and optimize it but it can be a nice way to do some research.
You can also just ask it for different things and then you just need to double-check it because it can be wrong. And it can also be outdated so you cannot just rely on this to do all the writing work for you. People that say that they do not know what they're talking about in my opinion. They're just trying to create hype to get views to sell you some kind of another idea so you still need to know something about writing. But overall what you need to know about this is that it can be a tool to give you ideas to help you but it cannot do all the work for you.
Not at all, at least not yet. So last option I quickly want to talk about is that I've seen many people also talk about a lot of videos saying like well you can just ask it to write a code for a Plugin or for a Chrome extension or whatever and start selling it. Well, again the problem here is there might be errors in the code. What if something happens eventually and you need to have it corrected, it cannot do that. You need to know something about it if you don't know anything about coding, you cannot just ask it to write a code for you. That will be super risky and even if it can create something that might work then you still need to know how to promote that, and how to get it out there, it cannot do that for you. And if something happens, if people start asking for support, what are you going to do then? You need help to do that, you need some knowledge to do that, and you cannot just rely on that.
And that is important to be aware of. So let's just now just sum it all off so you have a full overview of how you can actually use it because it can be a great tool if you use it correctly. So to sum it all up, I am quite impressed by ChatGPT, it is easy to use and it can give you a lot of information very fast. But the thing is this is not a solution for lazy people without any skills and without any motivation to do anything to make a lot of money online. I know a lot of videos will claim that but usually, they have ulterior motives they just want views or they just want to sell you something where they say oh you just need to buy this tool and then you can do it. That's not how it works. This is not a quick fix like that. It can be software a tool you can use if you already know what you're doing or if you're getting started then you can use it to help with certain research or drafts and things like that.
But you cannot just rely on this to do all the work for you. You need to first learn the skills to make money online choose the method you want for example do you want to make a Blog, do you want to be a freelance writer, do you wanna have a YouTube channel? You need to learn some skills and then you can use something like ChatGPT to help you as a tool to make certain things easier and faster. But it cannot do all the work for you. So it's not a get-rich-quick scheme without any effort or anything like that even though many people will want you to believe that, and people with that mindset that they don't want to learn in skills they just want to get rich online what kind of next shiny object tool can I use to do that without learning any skills or without doing anything.
No, they will fail because that's not how it works to make money online and that's the main reason I recorded this article because I was tired of seeing all the hype. And I get so many questions every single day from people asking can I use it for this, can I use it for that, how can I use it to make money? And that's why I wanted to explain exactly what you need to consider so you do not just end up chasing around for some kind of magical way to get rich overnight you need to first sit down and think about how you want to make money, learn these skills then you can use tools soft software as a help to optimize those processes.
But you cannot just get it to do all the work and start earning right away. But the most important is just that you know what you can expect from ChatGPT and that you should be careful about all the hype videos because there are thousands and thousands of crazy claims about ChatGPT right now, about how easy it is and you can easily end up wasting a lot of time and money if you just blindly think that it can make you rich without any effort.
